What it Includes...
30 December
- Arrive in time for a Champagne afternoon tea, and enjoy listening to Glenapp's pianist on the baby grand piano.
- Get settled in and relax by the roaring open fires, or enjoy exploring the Glenapp Estate, including the unique Italian Gardens inspired by Gertrude Jekyll.
- Come and meet your fellow house party guests over pre-dinner drinks and canapés in the drawing room, accompanied by the twinkling sound of Glenapp's resident harpist.
- A three-course gourmet dinner is served, along with mouth-watering homemade petits-fours. A fabulous way to start off the celebrations!
New Year's Eve
- Enjoy a traditional Scottish breakfast before you head off for a day of fun with the castle's New Year Curling Bonspiel in Stranraer. Take notes from your coaches, they're some of the finest in the world!
- Afternoon tea is served before heading back to the castle, where you can enjoy the roaring log fires in anticipation of becoming the new Glenapp curling champion.
- The black-tie Hogmanay party begins with a Champagne reception in the drawing room, followed by a magnificent six-course banquet dinner with wines.
- Enjoy Scottish pipers, dancers, and the traditional 'beating retreat'. Then kick off those shoes and dance the night away at the Scottish Ceilidah.
- A glass of Champagne at midnight, along with a piper or two, will bring in 'the bells' Glenapp-style. Join newfound friends and family with Auld Lang Syne and dance through to the wee small hours.

- Happy New Year!
- A lazy and leisurely brunch will be served, perhaps with the offer of a Bloody Mary for anyone who needs it!
- An exciting choice of afternoon activities is on offer, with an interactive falconry display with magnificent birds of prey, or find your inner Robin Hood with an archery lesson and game.
- Warm up with a cream tea and capture the moment with the in-house caricaturist.
- A three-course gourmet dinner is served, followed by a prize-giving for the winners of the curling competition, and evening entertainment. Who will be crowned Glenapp King or Queen of the Curling Bonspiel this year?

The rate for the Castle Penthouse Suite is for 8 guests.
Children are welcome at Glenapp Castle, and a few suites have sofa-beds in adjoining lounges, plus most rooms can accommodate extra beds. Children's menus are available.
Children up to 5 years of age are accommodated free of charge.
Children from 5 - 15 years are charged at £250 per night on a full board basis, and children 16+ are charged at half the above room rates. All charges for children are based on sharing a room with two adults.
Extend your New Year getaway...and dinner will be on the castle! Stay for an extra night or two, prior to or after the New Year package, and the usual bed and breakfast rates apply along with a complimentary three-course gourmet dinner!
