Absolutely stunning! We were blown away by the beauty of the area, the attention to detail in the castle too! We had the whole castle to ourselves and were able to explore every nook and cranny of its remarkable history. Catering facilities were brilliant and the lovely owner had stocked up the butler’s pantry with lots of luxury goodies! A very unique experience. Thank you so much and will definitely recommend!

Our Experts Say
With an illustrious history dating back to the 1100s, Neidpath is an amazingly preserved Medieval stronghold with many stories to tell. Easy to reach from Edinburgh, but once you’re there, it’s even easier to forget the outside world. Perfect for a romantic getaway for two, in the castle you can join a guest list that includes Mary Queen of Scots.
