Neidpath Castle is located within easy reach of Edinburgh, surrounded by rolling hills and forests in a commanding position above the River Tweed.

In 1563, Mary Queen of Scots slept in the castle on her return journey from South-West Scotland.

Today you can find an antique four-poster bed, roll-top bath, and open log fire, offering the comfort and luxury you want over the festive period.

Neidpath Castle is an ideal base to explore the whole area and, as well as the spectacular scenery, there’s plenty to see and do.

Peebles, with its coffee shops, fine restaurants, galleries and gift shops, is just a short walk along the riverbank.

Absolutely stunning! We were blown away by the beauty of the area, the attention to detail in the castle too! We had the whole castle to ourselves and were able to explore every nook and cranny of its remarkable history. Catering facilities were brilliant and the lovely owner had stocked up the butler’s pantry with lots of luxury goodies! A very unique experience. Thank you so much and will definitely recommend!
