Celebrate a traditional Scottish Christmas at Greywalls, with a wonderfully decadent package that will allow you to enjoy a fun-filled 3-day break.
Greywalls was built as a holiday home for its original owner. Hon. Alfred Lyttleton. As a keen golfer, he insisted that the house was built 'within a mashie niblick shot of the eighteenth green at Muirfield'!
With its warm honey-coloured stone from the local Rattlebags Quarry, and stunning views over East Lothian and the Firth of Forth, this property is luxurious and elegant, and will make your Christmas a truly special experience.
What it Includes...
Christmas Eve
- Relax in the library or drawing room by the roaring log fires, and enjoy a delightful cream tea;
- Join your fellow guests for a sparkling reception with pianist, followed by a candle-lit four-course dinner;
- For those who choose, mulled wine and mince pies will be available to warm you up after midnight mass for a truly festive touch.
Christmas Day
- Wake up to a stocking outside your door before enjoying a leisurely breakfast;
- From 12.30 pm, a spectacular Christmas lunch is served at your reserved time, preceded by a Champagne reception;
- The afternoon is yours to do as you wish, unwrap your presents, explore, or put your feet up for a snooze by the fire!
- Walking maps can be provided for those guests wishing to walk off their lunch!
- A delicious cold buffet is served in the evening for anyone who still has room.
Boxing Day
- Begin the day with a relaxed brunch, then unwind in the hotel;
- Delight in a Gin Tasting experience and traditional afternoon tea, and later in the evening, sip Champagne at the pre-dinner reception, before indulging in a sumptuous three-course meal served in the renowned Chez Roux Restaurant.
27 December
- One last full Scottish breakfast before you are bid a fond farewell and safe travels, feeling refreshed and enriched by your Christmas escape.
