This Scottish Country House is a fine stone mansion dating from 1755.
It is reached easily after a beautiful scenic drive from Glasgow, along Loch Lomond and through Glencoe, or take the train to Glenfinnan Rail Station, just a 10-minute walk away.
Attractive public rooms include a comfortable drawing room, a beautifully appointed dining room, and a welcoming bar, where traditional music is often played. You will be welcomed into the delightful hall, where a log fire blazes. Along pine-panelled walls hang an atmospheric collection of paintings for guests to enjoy, including a portrayal of the 1745 Jacobite Rising at Glenfinnan.
Here's the feedback from one guest who stayed for Christmas 2024 was very impressed.......
Our Christmas break was fantastic. The house and location are superb. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We felt like friends rather than customers which made for a wonderful Christmas away from home.
