Dalmunzie Castle Christmas 2025

Dalmunzie Castle is a stunning castle located in the heart of Scotland and has a real appeal for those looking for a traditional Scottish New Year.

Based in North Perthshire, the central belt, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Fife, Dundee, and Perth are all within two hours' drive.

The castle is offering a five-night Christmas package, giving you great access to the wonderful Cairngorm Mountains or, if you prefer a more relaxed stay, lounging beside roaring fires, with great food and bubbly. If you are a hardy skier, Glenshee is just 15 minutes away, offering extensive ski and snowboarding facilities.

Dalmunzie Castle is offering a fabulous five-night break, arriving on 22 December 2025, which will truly make the festive season one to remember.

Arrival Day: 22 December

• Arrive in time for a cream tea, with a pot of mulled wine in the lounge;
• Get settled in, relax by the fire, or enjoy exploring the Dalmunzie Estate;
• Learn about the local gin by taking part in a Persie Gin-tasting session before enjoying a festive evening buffet.

23 December 

• Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then try your hand at clay-pigeon shooting on the front lawn;
• Warm up with a soup and sandwich lunch served in the lounge;
• A fabulous four-course supper will be served, followed by relaxed entertainment from Scottish acoustic musicians.

24 December

• Start the day with a full breakfast, then head out for some last-minute shopping in Braemar;
• Afternoon tea will be served upon your return, followed by some time to relax with your fellow guests;
• Finish Christmas Eve with a four-course supper and Carol singing.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!

• Santa always finds his way to Dalmunzie and presents will await you;
• Enjoy a full Scottish Christmas breakfast with a glass of fizz;
• Relax by the fire with family and friends and enjoy your Christmas gifts;
• There will be a Champagne reception followed by a traditional five-course Christmas lunch;
• The evening will begin with a Christmas quiz, followed by a simple evening buffet.

26 December

• A slightly later Scottish breakfast awaits with a “Persie Gin Bloody Mary” followed by an early afternoon falconry display;
• Pie, mash & gravy will be served in the lounge;
• Relax and enjoy board games with new-found friends, followed by a four-course supper.

27 December

• A final Scottish breakfast will be served from 8 am - 9.45 am, before a fond farewell…. Haste Ye Back!ll!

"I stayed at Dalmunzie Castle for the Christmas Package. All I can say is that it was fantastic. The hotel is set in some wonderful countryside surrounded by hills and rivers. The staff were friendly and attentive, as well as working extra hard when serving meals. The provided entertainment was first class. Of course, no Christmas stay would be complete without food, and this exceeded my expectations. The choice was enormous, the portions were large, it was cooked to perfection, and presented in such a way to rival anything produced on MasterChef. I have spent many Christmases away from home in both the UK and abroad and this has been the best in terms of an all-round package. Great work Dalmunzie! "
