Poised above the River Tay in Perthshire, within Scone Palace, the Balvaird Wing at Scone Palace overlooks the routes north to the Highlands and east through Strathmore to the coast. The Grampian Mountains form a distant backdrop and, across the river, stands the city of Perth. The Balvaird Wing provides a magnificent setting for your Christmas break. What it Includes...
The beautifully appointed Balvaird Wing, in the north-west aspect of the palace, provides 5-star, luxury accommodation for up to six guests.
The Balvaird Wing comprises of three stunningly decorated, en-suite bedrooms:
The MacGregor Room: Super king-size bed. En-suite bathroom with an original very deep bath (no shower);
Colonel Andrew’s Room: Two king-size beds. En-suite bathroom with bath and a separate shower;
Lady Carnegie’s Room: Two king-size beds. En-suite bathroom with shower over the bath.
A double sofa bed is also available in the Sitting Room, which can be made up for a small additional charge.

The Balvaird Wing is offered for a minimum two-night stay, with prices from £1,600 for up to six guests, on a self-catered basis, arriving from 24 December 2025.
