Set amongst 300 acres of secluded landscaped grounds and gardens, the delightful Rise Hall sits in a peaceful countryside setting just outside the quaint market town of Beverley in East Yorkshire. As you approach the Grade 2-listed property down a sweeping driveway, you’ll see it nestled between copses of trees and manicured lawns. Rise Hall’s grand entrance is framed by tall stone pillars. Its many vast Georgian windows let the sunlight fill its rooms with warmth and provide uninterrupted views across the scenic estate. The property boasts a pleasingly symmetrical façade, but it is only upon entering it you realise the depth of the building as it gives way to various wings and a plethora of stately spaces.

Rise Hall is offered on an exclusive-use basis and is situated just over an hour from the city of York. Your special day here will most definitely be unique; the property prides itself on its flexible, bespoke service and its detailed wedding planning service. You and your guests will be completely looked after by a dedicated wedding planner who will ensure every aspect of your day, including all the in-house catering, is tailored to your specific requirements.

Rise Hall is all about making special memories for you and the day can be however you envisage it to be.

All the rooms at Rise Hall have been designed to evoke individuality during your wedding weekend as each one brims with character. Beautifully adorned walls, spectacular chandeliers and luscious fabrics combine to set the scene and are set off beautifully by an abundance of flowers.

For larger weddings, the following make up of rooms is ideal. However, for more intimate gatherings, there are several other options that the wedding team would love to discuss with you.

The Swift Suite

The Swift Suite is a spacious, relaxing set of rooms in which you and your wedding party can get ready and prepare for the special day ahead. The full-length windows let natural light pour in, creating a perfect space for the bride to sit for her make-up. Allow the house butler to wait on you, while you enjoy a glass or two of fizz with your wedding party.

The licensed, freshly-decorated Drawing and Morning Rooms are ideal for your civil ceremony and can seat 180 guests. Featuring large windows and doors down one side, they interlink to provide a flexible, tailor-made space that opens out onto the outdoor terrace.

Gallery and Belvedere Hall

As if it was made for your drinks reception, The Gallery and Belvedere Hall features a glorious cantilevered stone staircase, above which the ceiling rises to the whole height of the house and is crowned by a central belvedere. Imagine making a movie-style entrance as newlyweds down these stairs and joining your delighted guests for your first drink as a married couple.

The adjacent split-level gallery enjoys natural daylight, creating a flawless canvas for your wedding photographs. Venturing outside, your guests can explore the lawns and woodland as you pose for formal photos on the portico or relaxed pictures on the swing.

Wedding breakfast and catering

The Orangery

The Orangery is a large, contemporary space that can seat up to 180 guests for your bespoke wedding breakfast. Daylight spills in through the five French doors which give views over the parkland and access to a stone terrace complete with a lime grove canopy. What a whimsical setting for your celebration!

Rise Hall offers you the freedom and flexibility to create a wedding breakfast menu tailored specifically to your taste and preferences. The in-house chefs would welcome the opportunity to be inspired by your choices and are renowned for creating delectable dishes using culinary flair alongside the finest Yorkshire produce. In addition, the highly trained events team are proud to deliver an exceptional service.

Evening entertainment

The flexible space of The Orangery offers a seamless transition into your evening celebrations. The room can be easily transformed to feature a dancefloor along with atmospheric lighting. It offers convenient access to the house terrace for fireworks and features its very own pub next door! Garden games can also be arranged outside and guests can stay warm by the firepit as they chat under the stars.

Rise Hall offers luxury accommodation for up to 62 guests in 31 bedrooms. These are housed in numerous, aptly-named wings, continuing the unique and charming vibe of Rise Hall. Each bedroom has been individually styled with character in mind; your wedding planner would be delighted to help you allocate rooms to your chosen guests.

The beautifully decorated and aforementioned Swift Suite makes for a wonderful bridal suite and features a stunning en-suite bathroom adjacent, with private access. It also boasts a twin bath and marble shower.

Prices

Wedding hire begins at £1,800 per day during low season. Accommodation is priced separately, the total for all 31 bedrooms would be £6,328.

Prices do not include VAT.

Food and drink packages are tailored to each wedding and charged accordingly.

Rise Hall is situated in the East Yorkshire countryside, close to the city of Hull. The cities of Leeds and York are less than 90 minutes away. It can easily be accessed by road, an approximate 30-minute drive from the M62.
