Howsham Hall’s Bridal Lounge is one of the largest in Europe. It is a fantastic space to enjoy and prepare for the biggest day of your life. Completely private and away from the hustle & bustle downstairs, you can relax and enjoy a glass of fizz with selected friends and family before heading downstairs for the Ceremony.

You’ll descend the house stairs and enter the Great Hall out of sight from your guests before taking the walk along the aisle. Original windows flood the room with daylight & the tasteful decor lends itself to a wide range of colour schemes and styles.

After the ceremony guests can enjoy drinks in the Staircase Hall and make use of the completely exclusive grounds of Howsham Hall – it’s a photographer’s paradise. Guests can enjoy drinks & canapes, freshen up in their suite or even have a game of snooker in the Billiard Room.

After drinks, guests are invited to take their seats in The Drawing Room. Once everyone is settled we will invite the happy couple into the room to a standing ovation. Again, the Drawing Room has been decorated with a mixture of contemporary & traditional styling, with many details taking a second glance to appreciate. This allows your own style & tastes to take centre stage.

Unusually for such a historic property, Howsham has been kitted out with a modern bar space & dancefloor area with access onto the Riverside Terrace. After the meal & speeches, guests are invited to move through to the evening space, ready for the first dance before everyone let’s their hair down and enjoys the celebrations long into the night.
