Trusted GuestI knew as soon as I walked in the castle it was the ONLY venue I wanted to have for our wedding. It is truly magical from every aspect. Location, rooms, food and ambiance is second to none. The staff were outstanding and made sure that every minute of the day was covered. My special thanks goes to the one and only Amy Owen who was by my side- without knowing she was there- for the whole day. You’re an absolute star Amy and we love you to bits. We have the most precious memories that will last a lifetime. Borthwick Castle made our dreams come true.
Trusted GuestAttended a friend's wedding here and spent the night. Absolutely beautiful fairy tale venue! Guest rooms were stunning with great attention to details spanning centuries! The antique furniture, decor and structures lovely embraced modern conveniences as beautiful tub/shower, mini fridge, hairdryer and even a clothing steamer!! Culinary wise: The wedding consisted of informal garden gathering with beverages and appetizers followed by a full sit down gourmet meal. Later in the evening there were evening snacks served, not that anyone could possibly be hungry! We stayed the night and in the morning there was a full breakfast served!! All food was absolutely fabulous in taste, presentation and service.
