Belle Isle Castle

Situated on the northern tip of Upper Lough Erne, Belle Isle is a 17th-century castle at the heart of a 470-acre estate. The castle can accommodate weddings on an exclusive-use basis for up to 60 people.

You are welcomed with 400 acres of lush Fermanagh countryside, inhabited since the 12th century, spread over 8 picturesque islands.

Enter the castle through a splendid, double-vaulted entrance hall, leading to a welcoming drawing room that features a warming fireplace at its heart.

Couples typically exchange their vows in Belle Isle Castle’s magnificent grand hall, before a fireplace in the art-filled drawing room. The grand hall can be decorated with flowers and other personal touches. Weather-permitting, you can also hold the ceremony outside in the verdant sunken garden.

A Champagne toast in the drawing room or garden will be hosted after the ceremony. Later, you and your guests can feast in the splendour of Belle Isle Castle’s grand hall. The castle offers 3 menu options combining seasonality, local produce and exquisite menu design, to ensure you and your guests have a delicious dining experience. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated.

When looking for the perfect backdrop, there are plenty of spectacular views which will make your photographs the envy of all; from the views across Lough Erne, the landscaped gardens with Belle Isle Castle in the background and the grand staircases, complemented by period features inside the castle, you are sure to get the perfect pictures, whatever the weather.

The castle can accommodate up to 31 guests in 16 individually designed guest rooms. Most are en-suite and several have grand four-poster beds and views across Lough Earne, including a spectacular bridal suite. In total there are 12 double rooms, 3 twins and 1 single room.

Belle Isle Estate offers a number of unique, self-catered cottages and apartments, meaning the estate, as a whole, can accommodate up to 95 guests.
