Originally built in 1865 for the Estate Manager of 800-year-old Ashford Castle, this elegant white-washed lodge offers stunning views over placid Lough Corrib, backed by the rolling, emerald hills of Connemara.
The Lodge offers country house charm, fine dining in Wilde’s Restaurant and an exceptional collection of activities available on the Ashford Castle Estate.

Ashford Castle is situated a 20-minute stroll away, within the Ashford Estate. Transportation for guests of The Lodge can be arranged.
Dating back to 1228, the castle is rich in heritage with a long and fascinating history. Its venues range from fine dining in the spectacular George V Restaurant to the exquisite Connaught Room.

The lodge is an intrinsic part of the remarkable Ashford Castle Estate. Once home to the Guinness family, it covers 350 acres of formal, manicured gardens and wild, rambling woodland rich in wildlife.
