Itinerary

Day 1-2 - Thornbury Castle

The first stop of your tour will be the beautiful Thornbury Castle; this romantic castle has a rich history - Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn spent their honeymoon here in 1535.

There’s plenty to see and do amongst the 15 acres of land that surround Thornbury Castle, be that perhaps enjoying afternoon tea on the terrace or exploring the beautiful castle gardens. The castle is just a short driving distance from some of the UK’s most beloved tourist destinations; it is located just under an hour from the historic city of Bath, where you can relax and unwind in The Thermae Bath Spa - here you get to experience the rejuvenating effects of the local hot springs in a thoroughly contemporary setting! Just a 40-minute drive away is Cheltenham, a beloved spa town that offers a harmonious blend of vibrant festivities, gentle relaxation and revered culinary destinations throughout its quaintly realised streets and regal white-faced architecture.

Day 3-4 - Swinton Estate

The second stop of your tour will be Swinton Estate, set in the very picturesque Yorkshire Dales!

Swinton Estate has so much to offer, you can choose from a myriad of fabulous experiences; a full range of outdoor and rural activities is available, such as shooting, fishing, or pony-trekking. You can hone your skills at the Cookery School, and explore the four-acre walled garden! Not to mention the Spa at Swinton, which includes a thermal suite, treatments, and an 18-meter indoor pool. For outdoor enjoyment, the spa garden is equipped with a 10-meter natural pool, eco-friendly bathing in bio-filtered water, as well as an alfresco hot tub.

Day 5-6 - Glenapp Castle

Last but certainly not least is Glenapp Castle, located in rural Ayrshire, Scotland. The luxurious, award-winning, five-star hotel provides an intimate level of service, with genuine attention to detail. It has great beauty in its period furnishing and through the breath-taking gardens, forest and the seascapes that surround the castle.

The West Coast of Scotland has so much to offer and, with Glasgow just two hours away, this is a great setting to explore Scotland. There is plenty to see and do on the estate; you can relax and unwind in the castle spa and enjoy a range of high-quality treatments. Or perhaps enjoy a boat adventure to the Ardbeg Whisky Distillery on the Isle of Islay! Dinner is an occasion not to be missed in the fabulous fine-dining 3 AA Rosette restaurant.
