Itinerary

Day 1-2 - Melville Castle

Your luxury castle tour will begin from the moment you touch down in Scotland, where you will be picked up from Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport in your Concierge Scotland chauffer-driven luxury vehicle, and transferred to Melville Castle.

This lovely property is located less than 20 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre, on a private 54-acre estate; Melville Castle has a rich history with records dating back to 1155.

After being welcomed to day one of your tour, you can visit both Rosslyn Chapel and Glenkinchie Distillery, subject to time constraints.

Here you will be able to see not only the chapel at the heart of Dan Brown's book, 'The Da Vinci Code', but also sample a dram during your tour of the distillery!

Whilst staying at the castle, you will also be able to enjoy a private whisky tasting of three different drams!

After spending the night at Melville Castle, you can use the property as a base to explore this vibrant Scottish capital city! You can visit the famous Edinburgh Castle and the underground vaults or, perhaps, enjoy a Scotch Whisky Experience before returning to Melville Castle for a sumptuous dinner and a restful night's sleep.

Day 3 - Dalmunzie Castle

After departing Melville Castle on the third day of your tour, you will head north to Dalmunzie Castle with your private chauffeur.

Your first stop of the day will be Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish Kings and the original home of the Stone of Scone, where Scottish monarchs sat to be crowned. With over 1000 years of history, you are sure to have a very interesting and memorable visit.

From Scone you will get back into your luxury vehicle and your chauffeur will take you north again to Pitlochry. Pitlochry is in the Heart of Scotland and it is largely a Victorian town, which developed into a tourist resort after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert visited the area in 1842 and bought a highland estate at Balmoral, plus the arrival of the railway in 1863. You can stop in Pitlochry for lunch and then visit Queens View, just outside Pitlochry.

Queens View is one of the most photographed views in Scotland and is considered by many as Scotland's finest view. Queen Victoria made a famous entry in her diaries in 1866 presuming that the Queens View had been named after her but it was originally named after Queen Isabel, wife of Robert the Bruce in the 14th century.

From Queens View, your chauffeur will take you on the short one-hour journey to your second castle of the trip - Dalmunzie Castle, where you will spend the night in style.

Day 4 - Tulloch Castle

On the morning of day four of your tour, you will be picked up by your chauffeur at Dalmunzie Castle, and head north to Tulloch Castle for the final night of your trip.

You will head north through Braemar, home of the famous Highland Games, and your first stop will be Balmoral Castle. Highland home of the Royals, it is open from early-May until mid-August each year. From there you will travel through the stunningly beautiful Cairngorm National Park to Inverness where you will stop to visit the Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre to learn about the last hand-to-hand battle fought on British soil. From there, you will take a short trip to Clara Cairns, which are over 4,000-year-old Bronze Age burial mounds.

From here you will finish your journey at Tulloch Castle, where you will enjoy a fabulous dinner and stay in one of their most luxurious rooms!

In the morning, you will be served a delightful breakfast and be driven south to either Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport and be dropped off by your Concierge Scotland chauffeur.

Thanks to a longer day of travelling, you will have a variety of stop-off options on the way back to the airport. These can include Aviemore, Blair Athol Castle, home to the last private army in Scotland, or Dunkeld, a beautiful historic town.
