A welcoming log fire, mulled wine and shortbread await your arrival at Stonefield. Join the rest of your house-guests downstairs at 7pm for bubbly and canapes, followed by Chef's hot buffet dinner in the Loch Fyne Restaurant.
New Year's Eve
After breakfast, why not blow away the cobwebs with a walk in the grounds or a trek round the castle's very own Barmore Island for the more energetic? A light lunch of soup and stovies will be served in the lounge.
This afternoon wander next door to Barmore Farm and sample some clay pigeon shooting under the guidance of Bob McColl and the Mid-Argyll Gun Club.
Champagne and canapes will be served at 7pm followed by a gala dinner and ceilidh dance. The skirl of the pipes from Major John McGeachy will help welcome in 2017, accompanied by a wee dram of course!
New Year's Day
Breakfast brunch from 10am - 1pm.
This afternoon why not take part in the Grand Haggis Hunt; now a Stonefield tradition and fun for all, apart from the Haggis of course!
Soup and sandwiches will be available in the lounge throughout the day.
Join the team in the drawing room at 5pm for a whisky masterclass and tasting. This evening Chef will tantalize your taste buds with some fine Scottish cuisine.
