Dalmunzie Castle is offering a fabulous three night break, arriving 24 December 2017, which, in addition to dinners, lunches, breakfasts, afternoon teas and drinks receptions, boasts a whisky-tasting session, and a brass band, plus a falconry display.
Arrival day: Christmas Eve
Arrive and unpack, then meet fellow guests in the lounge for Mulled Wine and Mince Pies and meet the team that will look after you throughout your stay.
Before dinner, enjoy a whisky tasting session with a whisky professional, who will teach you all about how malts are made.
A local piper will play some traditional Scottish music before you enjoy a 5-course dinner in the restaurant at 8.30pm.
After dinner, enjoy a night cap of your favourite malt from the tasting before heading to bed to see if Santa has been!
(9am - 11am) Breakfast is served and, after a relaxing morning at your leisure, enjoy pre-lunch cocktails including Snowballs, Kir Royale or Bucks fizz from noon.
A local brass band will play traditional Christmas Carols throughout the afternoon.
Christmas Lunch is served at 2pm in the restaurant, after which you can relax by the fires or take a walk around the grounds.
A light buffet supper will be served from 8pm, followed by a quiz at 8.30pm.
Breakfast will be served from 9am to 10.30am.
A falconry display will be held on the lawn from 12.30pm where you can get up close to some beautiful birds of prey and learn about their habitats.
There will be a light buffet lunch served from 2.30pm.
A local piper will provide traditional music from 4pm onwards.
Dinner is served at 7.30pm.
Enjoy a hearty Scottish breakfast before being wished a fond farewell!
