The Scottish Rally

A small group trip with some of the finest roads and scenery in Europe, visiting the finest hotels Scotland has to offer, and finishing with a gala dinner on the Royal Yacht Britannia.

The Scottish Rally explores the Highlands in style, with great driving roads, stunning scenery, plus lavish food and accommodation; this will be a trip to remember! We have chosen the finest roads, cuisine, hospitality and spa hotels that Scotland has to offer.

This will be a truly memorable journey that will amaze, spoil, pamper and delight you. Starting in Ayrshire, you will head north through Stirlingshire to the Highlands, taking in The Trossachs National Park, before cruising along the edge of Loch Lomond to Inverness. You will then head south through the glorious driving roads of the Cairngorms before staying in Pitlochry. From there you will head to Edinburgh and delight in a private gala dinner and presentations onboard the famous Royal Yacht Britannia, home to Her Majesty The Queen for over 40 years.

Day 1

Glenapp Castle

You will be welcomed at Glenapp Castle with a glass of Champagne, followed by a six course tasting dinner. Glenapp Castle is famous for the quality of its cuisine. The award-winning restaurant makes full use of the estate's herb and vegetable produce and the vast array of local produce.

In stunning scenery, this luxurious award-winning 5 Star hotel provides an intimate level of service with genuine attention to detail. With just 20 rooms, you and your fellow rally guests will have exclusive use of the property for your first over-night stop.

Day 2

Cameron House Loch Lomond

Enjoy an unparalleled level of luxury at the award-winning Cameron House, a 5 Star experience on the banks of Loch Lomond, where luxury meets culture and history. The Spa is where you can find true serenity of mind and body, then Michelin-starred Chef Martin Wishart will create a bespoke dinner menu for the group.

Day 3

Culloden House

At the time of the Jacobite uprising in 1745-46, Bonnie Prince Charlie used Culloden House as his lodging and battle headquarters, prior to that fateful battle on Culloden Moor.

Today, this handsome Inverness luxury hotel stands in nearly 40 acres of grounds, where you are free to wander about the woodland and private gardens to enjoy the exceptional peace, tranquillity and majesty of the estate.

Day 4

Fonab Castle

Nestled in the heart of Highland Perthshire, Fonab Castle is a truly unique 5 Star hotel. Lovingly restored, it draws inspiration from its historic past and breath-taking surroundings, whilst adding the odd contemporary twist. It really is 'beyond the ordinary'.

Day 5

Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh

Built in 1903, Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – the Caledonian is a historic icon in the heart of Edinburgh's Princes Street, with fabulous views of the castle. It is the perfect base to explore Scotland's capital; The Caledonian is within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and The Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Royal Yacht Britannia

The Royal Yacht Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family for over 40 years, sailing over 1,000,000 miles around the world. Now berthed in Edinburgh, you can follow in the footsteps of royalty to discover the heart and soul of this most special of royal residences.

You will discover what life was like on board Her Majesty's floating royal residence and follow in the footsteps of world leaders, such as Sir Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela and Rajiv Gandhi, before a delicious four-course menu will be served in the State Dining Room by Britannia’s butlers. Featuring the very best Scottish ingredients, dinner will be prepared by head chef Mark Alston and his team, in the original Royal Galleys.
