The estate today offers a wide range of attractive self-catering accommodation, from the castle itself, to courtyard or coach house cottages, with an option to suit all tastes and budgets.

Belle Isle has been designated a 'Special Area of Conservation' and the stewards of this special land take pride and care in its environmental upkeep. 'The Annals of Ulster', an ancient chronicle of Medieval Ireland, was compiled on Belle Isle between AD 431 to AD 1489.

The area of County Fermanagh offers a wealth of things to see and do, including some of Ireland's finest natural wonders, such as the Marble Arch Cave Geopark and three National Trust properties.

On the estate itself, guests can while away the hours with fishing, shooting or sailing. Belle Isle Estate has four pike fishing boats and two Garmin fish-finders. Sailing boats can be hired for a small fee.
